Chelinda Lodge is set against a pocket of Hagenia woodland overlooking vast tracts of Nyika National Park’s rolling grasslands dotted with large herds of wildlife.
Consisting of six double-storey log cabins, and one two roomed family unit . Each has a fireplace for the cold highland nights. The ground floor features an open-plan bedroom and lounge, en-suite bathroom and a veranda. A viewing area upstairs functions as additional living space – also ideal for children. The main building has a convivial dining area around a fireplace, and a lounge that opens onto a deck for sundowners.
Located high on the Nyika Plateau within Nyika National Park, Chelinda Camp overlooks a crystal-clear dam with panoramic views of rolling hills, isolated ridges and open high-altitude grasslands.
Accommodation at Chelinda Camp consists of two options. There are four chalets which have two bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge, dining area with a fireplace and a small kitchen. There are also six en-suite rooms with twin beds, which share a dining, bar and lounge area complete with comfortable furnishings and an inviting fireplace for those cosy nights.
Makuzi Beach Lodge is a family
owned business situated on the lush Northern shores of Lake Malawi.
Makuzi is one of Malawi’s only private white sand beaches which provides guests with a superb, secluded retreat and wonderful views across Africa’s third largest fresh water lake.

Mumbo Island is a pristine, deserted tropical island in the world’s first freshwater national park: Lake Malawi National Park. Here, just 7 comfortable tents (including a double family tent) are perched on rocks high above the water and tucked into the foliage. Each tent has a hot bucket shower and ‘eco-loo’, its own shaded view-deck and hammock.
Mumbo Island Camp adheres to strict principles of eco-architecture, so the dining area, bar and water sport gazebo, are all hand built from timber, thatch and canvas and solar energy is used.
The quiet and idyllic chalets all face Lake Malawi under a sheltered thatched patio with a pair of easy chairs to watch the exquisite sunsets. The 11 chalets feature six with double beds and five with twin beds and they are all en-suite with air conditioning.

Ng’ona Lodge is an oasis in the African bush. It is in a tranquil environment on the banks of the Shire River which flows out of Lake Malawi, south to join the Zambezi River in Mozambique. The lodge is approximately 70 kilometres south west of Blantyre.
Within Ng’ona Lodge, we also house our own restaurant in a large thatched open sided building, elevated from the pool and the river. We also have a well stocked bar for guests and day visitors.
Blantyre (the oldest European settlement) is the commercial capital of Malawi. Sunbird Mount Soche dominates the northern end of the city’s business centre. It is surrounded by banks and financial institutions, the headquarter offices of major corporations and retailers.
