As if you have entered an Aladdin's cave, the large doors open onto an International truck serving as the reception desk, a 'pompstasie' (filling station) bar and an assortment of classic vehicles and transport paraphernalia assembled with an innovative and creative flair - and a good deal of humour! Restaurant tables are placed in between and the cabs of several cars serve as zany fireplaces in the chilly winter months.

Canyon Roadhouse has more than just a fascinating interior. Large attractive rooms, positioned around courtyards, make the Roadhouse a comfortable - and convenient - base when visiting the Fish River Canyon, just 14 kilometres away. The history of southern Namibia is depicted in murals on the restaurant's wall and a colourful and lively rendition of life in the golden time of the missions graces the wall in the reception area. The lodge offers six en-suite rooms and 14 campsites nestled among shady trees at the top end of Fish River Canyon. Hobas is closely located to the Fish River viewpoint.

At Etosha Village nature and luxury are in perfect harmony through design and comfort. The Etosha Village Camp Site is nestled in the spectacular green and gold Mopani forests surrounding Etosha National Park, and caters for both Groups as well as individual travellers.

Mokuti Etosha Lodge is the lodge closest to Etosha National Park, only a four-minute drive from the eastern gate, the Von Lindequist Gate near the historic Namutoni Fort. Mokuti is located on its own 4 000 hectare private nature reserve, which shares a common border with Etosha.

The Fort has now been developed into the hub of activity, offering two restaurants, private chill lounges, a bar, craft boutique, curio shop, jewelry and bookstore.The Fort area is for pedestrian access only, and an elevated decked walkway along the water-hole facing wall provides opportunities for enjoying the surrounding scenery, wildlife and the spectacular sunsets over the flood-lit waterhole. 

Makalani Hotel is the ideal stop-over on your way to the Etosha National Park, which is about 95 kilometers north of Tsumeb.

The plateau and some 405 km² of surrounding land were declared a Nature Reserve in 1972. The plateau is largely inaccessible so in the early 1970s several of Namibia's endangered species were translocated there to protect them from predators and poaching to extinction. The programme was very successful and Waterberg now supplies other Namibian parks with rare species. In 1989, Black Rhino were reintroduced to the area from Damaraland, sparking a successful breeding programme of national and international significance for the species.  

In spring its undulating sandy plains become a flowering wilderness; after midsummer rains they become covered in tall green grass and leafy trees, such as shepherd's tree (Boscia Albitrunca), camelthorn (Acacia Erioloba), yellowwood (Terminalia Sericea) and a vast variety of shrubs.
