Seamlessly blended high into an acacia-lined ridge, our African-style lodge and infinity pool offer panoramic views across the Serengeti’s vast, endless grasslands, where lions and cheetahs stalk their prey and massive migrating wildebeest herds darken the landscape in a relentless search for fresh grazing grounds.  

The Lodge is elegantly built mainly from natural stone and local wood, harmoniously merging with its natural surroundings.

All the rooms and the open–air terrace of the Rhino Lounge Bar offers superb panoramic views of the whole Crater.

Themed around traditionally circular African houses with conical roofs, and decorated with examples of Africa’s rich tapestry of artistic traditions by way of rich woodcarvings and sculptures, the lodge harmonizes perfectly with its dramatic surroundings creating an almost magically welcoming ambience of both warmth and cosiness.

Each room has mountain views and comes equipped with a safety deposit box. The bed is draped in mosquito nets and the private bathroom includes a bath or shower with free toiletries.

The tropical restaurant at KIA Lodge, where breakfast is served features famous Tinga Tinga paintings and the open bar offers views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Impala Hotel offers various facilities such as a swimming pool, internet cafe plus WiFi and conference venues.

The hotel is well equipped and conveniently located and a popular stopover before or after a Tanzania safari holiday.

Iringa Sunset Hotel is ideally situated for a peaceful stay after a busy day’s schedule. All services that you require are available including dining, bar, meeting room and viewing point.

Situated in the rocky outcrops that the famous chief Mkwawa used to observe the German army stationed below in the military fort and to communicate with his sub-chiefs, you will feel an outlook yourself when enjoying the sunset on our wonderful deck area. 

Consisting of six double-storey log cabins, and one two roomed family unit . Each has a fireplace for the cold highland nights. The ground floor features an open-plan bedroom and lounge, en-suite bathroom and a veranda. A viewing area upstairs functions as additional living space – also ideal for children.

The main building has a convivial dining area around a fireplace, and a lounge that opens onto a deck for sundowners.

Accommodation at Chelinda Camp consists of two options. There are four chalets which have two bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge, dining area with a fireplace and a small kitchen. There are also six en-suite rooms with twin beds, which share a dining, bar and lounge area complete with comfortable furnishings and an inviting fireplace for those cosy nights. 

A central bar and restaurant are available for dining, although guests are invited to experience the pleasure of dining under the stars (weather permitting).

Sipping a cocktail or enjoying one of the chefs’ delicious meals from the deck of the main lodge is an experience in itself. Makuzi enjoys an excellent reputation for its cuisine and guests are encouraged to enjoy a full African dining experience under the stars.

It has its own private beach, a swimming pool and a lush garden. From your gazebo you have a stunning view over Leopard Bay with its spectacular sunsets and the local fishermen in their dugout canoes.

In this oasis of rest you can enjoy the local and the many wonderful birds. They offer: swimming, canoeing, snorkelling, a boat safari, and walks in the forest reserve.

The open-air terrace restaurant and the second storey dining room both overlook the beautifully tended gardens and the long stretch of beach. A range of local and international cuisine is available, with fresh Lake fish a speciality. The Kasupe Bar offers relaxed drinks around the swimming pool.

Mumbo Island Camp adheres to strict principles of eco-architecture, so the dining area, bar and water sport gazebo, are all hand built from timber, thatch and canvas and solar energy is used. 

Accommodation comprises eight tents, one of which is a romantic honeymoon suite. Each tent has en-suite bathroom facilities and its own deck built to look over the water’s edge.

Lodge facilities include a dining room, pub, lounge area and a swimming pool. The new star beds are located 4kms north of the lodge and overlook the floodplains, providing excellent views and a memorable night under the stars.

The Mulunguzi Restaurant offers both local and international cuisine on a comprehensive a la carte menu. Bastions Bar complements the restaurant with a well-selected wine list. The beautiful terraced garden hosts a popular barbecue every Sunday.
