	DAY 1: DEPARTURE SCHIPOL – DAR ES SALAAM
	Depart Amsterdam Schipol International Airport at 10:35 on flight KL567 to Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar Es Salaam. You will be transferred to your overnight transfer hotel. Overnight: Hot Reef Hotel
	DAY 2: LILONGWE – SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK	300 Km
	You will be transferred early in the morning to the Julius Nyerere International Airport for your 07:00 flight to Lilongwe. On arrival at 08:00 you will be met by your guide. We will travel to the Mchinji/Mwami Border Post where we will cross the border into Zambia before proceeding via the D104 to South Luangwa National Park. Our lodge is situated on the banks of the Luangwa River. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity to do an optional Game drive ($100). We will have a welcome dinner at 20:00. 	DAY 3: SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK
	We will be woken at 05:00 to enjoy some coffee before we depart at 06:00 for an early morning game drive. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the amenities and facilities the lodge have to offer. The lodge is situated on the banks of the Luangwa river and it would be possible to spot some wildlife as they come down to drink water.At 16:00 we will leave on an afternoon Game Drive, followed by dinner at 20:00 Mealplan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, 2 Game Drives Overnight: Thornicroft / Marula Lodge / Mopani Lodge
	DAY 4: SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK
	We will be woken at 05:00 to enjoy some coffee before we depart at 06:00 for an early morning game drive. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the amenities and facilities the lodge have to offer. 	DAY 5: SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK – LILONGWE	280 Km
	There will be an opportunity for an early morning Game Drive ($100). We will depart after breakfast and travel back to Chipata where we will have a comfort stop. We will enter Malawi at the Mwami/Mchinji Border Post before proceeding to Lilongwe where we will do a city tour before checking into the hotel. 	DAY 6: LILONGWE – NYIKA NATIONAL PARK	529 Km
	We will have an early morning departure for our long drive to Nyika National Park. We will make a lunch stop in Mzuzu before ascending to the top of the Nyika Plateau. We will check into the hotel. Mealplan: Breakfast, Dinner Overnight: Chelinda Lodge / Chelinda Camp
	DAY 7: NYIKA NATIONAL PARK	50 Km
	After breakfast we will take a drive through the Nyika National Park. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the environment by taking a walk or to enjoy the facilities the lodge has to offer. Mealplan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Chelinda Lodge / Chelinda Camp
	DAY 8: NYIKA NATIONAL PARK - CHINTHECHE INN	260 Km
	After breakfast we will drive back to Rhumpi for a comfort stop. We will continue to Mzuzu for lunch and then descent down to the shoreline of Lake Malawi. We will visit Nkatha Bay before driving to our overnight stop south of Nkatha Bay. En route we will pass through some rubber tree plantations. Mealplan: Breakfast, Dinner Overnight: Chintheche Inn / Makuzi Lodge
	DAY 9: CHINTHECHE - SENGA BAY	288 Km
	We will travel south along the shoreline passing through some sugar cane plantations. We will make a stop in Nkhotakota. We will continue to Salima and then onto Senga Bay. Afternoon at leisure to climb to the top of a hill from where you will get a commanding view over Lake Malawi. 	DAY 10: SENGA BAY - CAPE MACLEAR (LAKE MALAWI NATIONAL PARK)	200 Km
	We will travel via Monkey Bay to Cape Maclear. We will have time to explore the town of Chembe. After lunch we will transfer to our overnight stop on one of the islands in the Lake Malawi National Park. The Lake Malawi National Park was the first freshwater Marine Park that was established in 1980. In 1984 it was accepted as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. 	DAY 11: CAPE MACLEAR (LAKE MALAWI NATIONAL PARK)
	Day at leisure to explore the island or to relax on the white sandy beaches. Snorkel equipment is available for those that would like to explore the underwater wonder with the colourful Chiclid fishes. Kayaks are also available to explore the coastline of the island. 	DAY 12: CAPE MACLEAR – LIWONDE NATIONAL PARK	133 Km
	We will be collected from the island after breakfast. We will travel south along the shoreline with a stop at Nkopola Lodge. We will continue to Mangochi for lunch. We will travel along Lake Malombe and the Shire River to Liwonde National Park. In the afternoon we will do a game drive. Mealplan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, 1 Game Drive Overnight: Mvuu Lodge / Mvuu Camp
	DAY 13: LIWONDE NATIONAL PARK
	We will start with early morning coffee before we depart on a Game Drive, followed by breakfast. The rest of the day will be at leisure to enjoy the facilities and amenities the hotel has to offer. In the afternoon we will do another Game Drive. Mealplan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, 2 Game Drives Overnight: Mvuu Lodge / Mvuu Camp
	DAY 14: LIWONDE NATIONAL PARK – ZOMBA PLATEAU	100 Km
	We will do an early morning game drive followed by breakfast. We will depart at 10:30 and travel to Zomba. We will check into the hotel. Afternoon at leisure to explore the area on one of the many hikes. Mealplan: Breakfast, Dinner Overnight: Ku Chawe Inn / Mount Soche (Blantyre)
	DAY 15: ZOMBA PLATEAU – AMSTERDAM	90 Km
	We will travel to Blantyre and do a city tour before checking in at the Chileka International Airport for the return flight to Amsterdam. You will depart with Malawian Air (Flight. ) at 17:40 to Dar Es Salaam for your connecting flight with KLM (KLM 569) at 23:10. Mealplan: Breakfast
	DAY 16: AMSTERDAM
	Arrival in Amsterdam at 07:35.

	DAY 15: ZOMBA PLATEAU – DAR ES SALAAM	20 Km

	DAY 16: DAR ES SALAAM - ZANZIBAR	40 Km

	DAY 17: ZANZIBAR
	Zanzibar is a melting pot of different cultures with a very strong Arabic influence. In the morning we will do a Spice Tour which will introduce us to the different spices that are cultivated on the island. We will visit the Christ Church owned by the Anglican Church in Tanzania. We will also visit the site of the old Slave Market. Afternoon at leisure to explore the sights and sounds of Stone Town. 	DAY 18: ZANZIBAR - DAR ES SALAAM - AMSTERDAM	20 KM
	Morning at leisure. Optional excursion to Jozini National Park.You will be collected at 14:00 from your hotel and transfered to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your flight to Dar Es Salaam. You will have some time to relax before boarding your flight KLM flight to Amsterdam.
